The Specialized Plan for the construction of the new subway station next to OKINAWA Boutique Residence has been adopted

According to information on the official website of the Metropolitan Municipality sofia.bg at the end of July, at a meeting of the Specialized Committee of the Municipal Expert Council, the preliminary draft of a detailed layout plan for the continuation of the metro in Sofia from metro station “Vitosha“ to “Student City” with three new metro stations.  

The Mayor of Sofia, Yordanka Fandakova, also named the locations planned for the construction of the metro stations - the first on “Cherni vrah“ Blvd. between “Prof. Marin Goleminov“ and “Dimitar Manchev” street, the second to “Prof. Georgi Manev“ and “Stefan Savov“ and the third at the intersection of “Simeonovsko shosse“ and St. “Prof. "Ivan Stranski", just a 3-minute walk from the newly constructed healthy building OKINAWA Boutique Residence< /a>.        

OKINAWA has become one of the events in the market of quality new construction in Sofia due to the high standards of energy efficiency and an innovative concept, at the core of which is the well-being of the future residents. During the construction of the building, materials and technologies were used that contribute to the provision of a healthy living environment – vapor permeable “breathable“ lime-based plasters for higher air quality, self-washing filter for water purification, better sound insulation through the "double wall" technology — a combination of two Wienerberger brick blocks with panels of sound-insulating mineral wool, better thermal insulation through the high-tech facade, which is ventilated in its large part, and the final cladding is ceramics from Laminam in combination with a thermal insulation system from Baumit. The facade interacts harmoniously with the world leader Alumil's top-class aluminum windows and triple glazing with a warm spacer, providing excellent heat transfer coefficient, effective noise insulation and durability.

The metro station on “Simeonovsko Shosse Blvd.“ will significantly contribute to the good transport connectivity of the “Student City” and quarter “Raspberry valley“ with the center of the capital and will be another factor for the extremely dynamic development of the area and the high demand for properties for purchase and rent.   The adoption of the preliminary draft of the PUP is the first step in the procedure for the regulatory provision of the new extension and the reservation of the necessary terrain for its future implementation. The completion of the project with plan-schemes of the technical infrastructure and its announcement in accordance with the Territorial Planning Law is pending.
