Vacation properties are back on the map as good investments

Ten years after holiday properties in the country were last in the focus of buyers, this market is enjoying increasing and stable interest. Today, however, it is very different from the boom years before 2009: Bulgarian investors are increasingly replacing Russian and English investors, and the products and prices on the market are much more reasonable. According to data from various market players, the share of transactions with Bulgarian buyers in 2018-2019 ranges between 40% and 80%, depending on the region. In other words, vacation properties are no longer reserved for foreigners, and the interest of Bulgarian investors is a sustainable trend. There is sound logic behind this - good market conditions make properties outside the big city an increasingly good investment.
